PYROASIA Symposium 2026
PYROASIA 2026, the 6th International Symposium on Analytical and Applied Pyrolysis, is scheduled to be held from 26–28 November 2026 at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India. PYROASIA is the flagship annual event of the Pyro Asia Forum and focuses on recent advances in pyrolysis and related thermochemical processes. The symposium encompasses a broad range of topics, including analytical/applied pyrolysis, biomass and waste conversion, reaction mechanisms, product characterization, carbon material synthesis, catalysts for upgradation of fuels, industrial applications etc.
The PYROASIA Symposium at IIT Roorkee will provide a vibrant platform for researchers, industry professionals, and students to present and exchange cutting-edge research through keynote lectures, invited talks, technical sessions, and poster presentations. The event aims to strengthen research networks across Asia and beyond, while fostering dialogue on sustainable thermochemical technologies for energy and materials.

The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) is one of India’s oldest and most prestigious technical and research institutions, located in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India. Established in 1847 as the Thomason College of Civil Engineering and later designated as an IIT in 2001, IIT Roorkee has a long-standing legacy of excellence in engineering, science, and technology education.
